Walkers and ramblers tackling 16 new walks around the district are being pointed in the right direction thanks to a new booklet.
The Bradford Millennium Way circular walks have been developed over the past 12 months and take in some of the finest scenery in the district. Signposting of all 16 walks, which are between five and ten miles in length, has now been completed with the help of sponsor Yorkshire Water.
And a new booklet giving detailed maps and instructions of each of the walks is now on sale.
It follows the success of the original Millennium Way booklet, which provides walkers with information about the 45-mile circular route around the district.
Jim Thornber, a member of the original Millennium Way Project, said the 16 walks took in some of Bradford's best beauty spots.
"We have been asked about this booklet for a quite a few months but it has taken us a while to complete," he said. "We hope that it will encourage people to get out and enjoy the countryside, and all of the walks start in a town or village or a near a bus stop."
The booklets cost £3.75 and are available from Tourist Information Centres around the district and Keighley Town Hall. Alternatively, contact Mr Thornber on 01535 642292 or Chris Buckley on 01535 692159.
