Bobby Vanzie will put his British lightweight crown on the line against 'The Duke'.
Bradford's Vanzie is set to make his first defence of the belt since October 2001 when he faces Graham Earl from Luton.
The fight, which is going out for purse bids, could take place around July - when Vanzie's wife Angela is expecting their third child. He said: "That would be nothing new for me.
"I fought the night before both our girls were born and even won the British title."
Vanzie is eager to banish memories of his loss to Russian Yuri Romanov in a WBO eliminator in January - a defeat he put down to struggling to get down to the weight.
He added: "That was a defining moment for me although an embarrassing one. My daughters could have knocked me out that night.
"I've got a lot of critics because of my style and it gave them more ammunition. But the weight is all in order now and I will come back strong.
"There will be plenty of interest in a fight between a guy supposedly down and out against an up-and-coming rival. But I'm more optimistic and positive than ever."
