Four Bradford League clubs eluded the showers yesterday to reach the third round of the Heavy Woollen Cup.
Undercliffe won by three wickets at home to Skelmanthorpe, and Idle defeated visitors Elland by 46 runs.
Mirfield had no trouble passing Mirfield PC's 238 for eight, triumphing by eight wickets, and Hanging Heaton thrashed Brighouse by 171 runs.
Undercliffe included five second-teamers due to unavailabilities and won by making 207 for seven.
Opener Toby Drummond made 75 and Richard Elphee blasted 59, hitting six sixes and reaching his 50 off only 32 balls.
Drummond added 72 with 17-year-old Will Sharpe (20), and Elphee struck 71 with Guy Saxton, who contributed just 16.
Earlier Elphee had taken three for 20 from seven overs as Skelmanthorpe scored 206 all out, the start of the match having been delayed for almost three-quarters of an hour.
Fellow left-arm over merchant Jed Din took two for 24, and Jaffer Nazir bagged three for 37.
Ijaz Ahmed followed up his 104 at Farsley nine days ago by making 79 against Elland at Cavendish Road.
The visitors started slowly and weren't helped by Ian Dewhurst conceding only ten runs from his ten overs - and that after his first delivery had gone for four!
Elland eventually posted a half-decent total thanks to former Slaithwaite batsman Lee Baxter's unbeaten 57.
They were eventually dismissed for 191 chasing Idle's 237 for seven. Mark Gilliver took four for 37 for Idle and snaffled three catches.
Hanging Heaton and Brighouse suffered rain interruptions at Bennett Lane, but it was a very one-sided affair in the end.
Alan Mynett made 89 not out and Steve Bethel chipped in with a 40 as the hosts scored 222 for six.
Brighouse could only muster 51 in reply, left-arm spinner Simon Purdy again proving he is in the groove by taking six for 19. Mirfield rattled up 240 for two in their derby after Mirfield PC made 238 for eight.
