Chris Caisley today accused Leeds of 'taking the gloss' off his side's Challenge Cup win.
The Bulls chairman stoked the fires ahead of this weekend's grudge clash at Odsal, accusing the Rhinos of making "ill-advised" comments since the April 26 final which the Bulls won 22-20.
And the ever-controversial Caisley also hit out a Leeds bias in the media just three days ahead of the battle for top spot in Super League.
"I don't think our lads have got the credit the deserve," said Caisley, who is anticipating a crowd of well over 20,000 for the cup final re-run on Friday.
"There have been a lot of things said by Leeds since the final which have taken some of the gloss off what we achieved at Cardiff.
"They lodged an official complaint against the referee, of which we have heard nothing since, and I don't think Matt Adamson's comments that Bradford players deliberately tried to injure him were well-advised.
"It is not my place to respond to these comments, but I am sure our players have read them and will be drawing their own conclusions."
Caisley is known to have been furious when he heard that Leeds chief executive Gareth Hetherington was making an official complaint about referee Russell Smith's performance.
Superb defence by Bradford and Kevin Sinfield's decision to turn down a chance to kick a penalty to equal the scores combined to hand the Bulls victory - something Caisley believes too many people have forgotten.
"Leeds are saying that they were the better team and that the referee robbed them, but that completely ignores the fact that they scored two questionable tries and they chose to run a penalty rather than kick it," he continued.
"I feel a bit saddened for the players that the gloss has been taken off their superb performance."
And Caisley also launched an attack on journalists and broadcasters whom he believes have a bias towards Bradford's new fiercest rivals.
"There are certain sections of the media who just want to see Leeds win all the time," he added. "They have denied our players the credit they deserve for winning the trophy and are always very quick to praise the Rhinos for whatever they do."
Friday night also represents a big night for the Bulls off the field with the opening of new corporate facilities and a scoreboard at the ground.
The impressive new stand is the most significant development at the Bulls since Odsal reopened its doors at the beginning of this Homecoming season.
