Robbie Paul is expecting a game of big hits and cheap shots, warning: "This isn't tiddlywinks."

The Bulls skipper has also turned up the heat ahead of tonight's crunch West Yorkshire derby by accusing Matt Adamson of being "stupid" for playing in the final with a broken cheekbone.

Speaking in his exclusive column in the Telegraph & Argus, he also cranked up the atmosphere by stating that Leeds have only managed "scrappy wins" in recent weeks. Despite coach Brian Noble and senior players describing tonight's first versus second encounter as "just another two points", Paul has gone the opposite way, describing the Odsal clash as "the biggest game in Super League".

"Everyone is entitled to their opinion," said Paul, ignoring the measured approach of his coach and team-mates.

"This is the biggest game in Super League. It is the biggest because of the final, because of the West Yorkshire rivalry, because it is first versus second, because of their complaint about the Cup final referee and the biggest because of the Super League history between the top clubs.

"Bring it on."

But Noble is refusing to get carried away with the hype, instead insisting his side are focused on taking just "another two points".

"This game isn't going to settle Super League, nor is it going to decide who finishes top of the table," said Noble, who has named a 19-man squad for the game.

"The reality is this game is about two teams competing for two points. Leeds might be jumping up and down and getting excited, but we are focused on the job in hand."

Noble admitted to be looking forward to the clash immensely.

"I am excited, very excited," he said. "My heart-rate will be about 220 at the kick-off.

"This game is first versus second and is brilliant for the profile of the sport. I would like 30,000 people here if they could fit in."
