Villagers in South Craven will be taken back to the Iron Age and the Second World War thanks to a mobile museum.
Bradley and Lothersdale are the latest stops for the travelling exhibitions from Skipton's Craven Museum
Celtic Craven, a display of 2,000-year-old archaeological material, is in Bradley for three months.
The Iron Age implements include a bone spoon, finger ring and bronze pin.
Meanwhile Craven's War, featuring wartime objects and memories from local people, is at the Club House in Lothersdale. The museum is touring five exhibition "pods" around the whole of Craven as part of an outreach project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The pods also include Victorian fashion accessories and a collection of Craven's rocks, fossils and minerals.
Craven Museum staff are seeking a venue for the almost-finished fifth pod, Tools of the Trade, a small display of 20th-century veterinary and agricultural tools.
Lorraine Greenald, Craven's education and outreach officer, says any reasonably secure community space will be considered. She says: "The travelling displays are proving popular everywhere they go, and we are always on the lookout for new venues."
Details of the venues and opening times are available from Lorraine at the Museum in Skipton Town Hall, or by phoning her on 01756 706407.
