Bridge players gave Manorlands a good deal when they handed over a cheque for £300 to the Oxenhope hospice.
Money collected from the membership subs of the Arthur Loftus Bridge Club is donated to Manorlands on a regular basis. Since the club was started as a non smoking club by the late Arthur Loftus in 1990, £13,750 has been given to the charity.
The club -- which meets at the Airedale Church in North Street, Keighley, twice a week would welcome new members.
There are currently about 25 members and they are looking for new players.
Member Peter Booth said: "We would welcome improvers and people are welcome to come along without a partner. We are pleased to be able to give Manorlands the cheque and hope the money comes in useful."
Manorlands fundraiser Sally Owthwaite said: "We have had a lot of support from the bridge club over the years and we are very grateful for it.
"The money will go towards the general running of the hospice, and we heavily rely on the community for donations like this to support us. It is very gratefully received and much appreciated."
The Arthur Loftus Bridge Club meets on Tuesdays at 1.30pm, and on Thursday evenings at 7pm.
