A Keighley school has become a national beacon.
Holy Family RC School is being hailed as a model of good practice for its management and development of teaching assistants.
Four senior staff from St Joseph's High School, in Horwich, near Bolton -- including the head teacher -- spent an afternoon at Holy Family.
The visit was on the recommendation of Her Majesty's Inspectorate (HMI).
John Finnerty, head of learning development at Holy Family, said: "The HMI came here earlier this year and were clearly impressed. On their visit to the school in Horwich the inspectors recommended that staff should come to Holy Family to learn about our teaching-assistant management.
"We are absolutely delighted that Holy Family is being held up as a model of good practice.
"The delegation from St Joseph's said it had taken away a lot of things to think about and ideas for further development.
"A comment was made by the delegation that Holy Family was well down the road that its school was just setting down on."
