A Keighley salesman has netted two VIP tickets to one of European soccer's showpiece events.
John Hatfield, who works for wire-product manufacturer Bethel Rhodes, in Alice Street, scooped the prize after being entered in a free draw. He and a colleague will get the red carpet treatment at next week's UEFA Champions League final between Juventus and AC Milan, at Old Trafford.
The package will include overnight accommodation at the deluxe Manchester Thistle Hotel, meals and transport to and from the game.
John, 55, a Leeds United fan, was entered in the draw when he test-drove a Transit Connect, at Burgess Ford, in Keighley.
"I completed a questionnaire and then didn't think any more about it," he said. "When I got a phone call from Ford to say I had won I was a bit shocked, but delighted.
"I rarely fill in prize draw entry forms and I have never won anything before. We decided to buy the Connect, which is more in the style of a people carrier rather than the traditional Transit."
The second ticket is being raffled among the 25-or-so other employees at Bethel Rhodes.
