Mark Tyler has left Branshaw Golf Club this week after seven years as the club's professional.
Mark, from Oakworth, is to take up a new position in retail sales and custom golf club fit-ting with Direct Golf UK at Huddersfield.
Married with two young daughters, Mark, 29, is a former pupil of South Craven School.
He spent five years as an as-sistant professional at Keighley Golf Club and moved to Bran-shaw soon after qualifying as a PGA pro. At that time, aged 22, he was one of the youngest golf club professionals in the coun-try.
Bingley St Ives golfer Richard Wheatley (pictured) came a creditable fourth in the English Open Men's Amateur Strokeplay Championship at Hunstanton.
