Yorkshire and England ladies cricket ace Claire Taylor put children at Priestthorpe Primary School, Bingley, through their paces.
Claire, pictured here with pupils Emma and Douglas, was brought in to boost after-school sports activities by head teacher Kathryn Spragg.
And cricket is proving so popular among girls and boys that a school team may be set up.
Claire is being funded to help teach cricket regularly at the school by the New Opportunities Fund.
Mrs Spragg, said: "After school in summer there was only gym and we wanted to extend this.
"It is also a chance for the pupils to try a new sport and it is proving extremely popular.
"Claire is wonderful, absolutely super."
