The Government has warned people to stop using a lead-based eye cosmetic blamed for the death of a three-year-old boy last month. The Department of Prices and Consu-mer Protection advised anyone using the Asian-made cosmetic, called Surma, to dispose of their supplies. The boy, an Asian, who lived in Oldham, Greater Manch-ester, died from lead poisoning after his parents used the cosmetic on his eyes.
