Leeds pocket-rocket Rob Burrow today admitted the Bulls were the best team in Super League.

The diminutive half back, who came on as substitute in the second half of last week's 48-22 hammering at Odsal, added that Leeds need to reach Bradford's level if they are to challenge for silverware.

"We were out-classed on the day at Odsal and didn't perform. Bradford were great and the scoreline reflected that," said Burrow, in his weekly column on the Super League official website.

"It's something we have got to put behind us now, learn from our mistakes and get back on track when we visit Wigan, because that is looking like an equally tough match.

"We said in the changing rooms afterwards that we maybe needed that bit of a kick up the backside to realise what it is like to taste defeat, which we haven't done in Super League VIII.

"Until Friday, things had been going well, although we scraped a few wins you just take the points, but suddenly the feeling in the changing rooms was not very nice.

"The boys will have taken it in and won't want to feel like that again too often in the future."

Burrow, who had to leave the Millennium Stadium injured after picking up a knock in the Challenge Cup final between the two teams, admitted Bradford were setting the standard in Super League.

"Bradford are the best team in the competition at the moment," he continued.

"And, as I have said before, you have got to be at your best to beat teams, especially when you are at their grounds. That is even more so at Odsal, with the daunting atmosphere you have there; it is superb, they really get behind their side and it is intimidating.

"The Bulls are also so big, strong and very well coached, and if you are not on guard they will do what they did to us on Friday, and that was make us look silly at times.

"But we certainly need to reach that level if we want to win anything because they are the leading team this season so far."
