Yorkshire batsman Vic Craven hit a dazzling century to take Pudsey Congs to the top of the table for the first time this season.
Craven struck 22 fours as he raced to 101 off 84 balls and steered his team to a six-wicket victory over East Bierley with 20 overs to spare.
It was sweet revenge for Congs, who were knocked out of the Sovereign Healthcare Priestley Cup by East Bierley earlier in the season.
For East Bierley it was their third successive heavy defeat. Their total of 201 for four was made to look woefully inadequate once Craven and former Bierley batsman Andrew Bairstow (34) cut loose in a third-wicket partnership of 109.
Opener John Proud (86) and Tabassum Bhatti (54no) were the top scorers for Bierley on an afternoon which started badly with opener Richard Gould having to retire hurt after being hit on the head by a delivery from paceman Naveed Rana-ul-Hassan and got steadily worse.
Another Yorkshire batsman in the runs was Andrew Gale. The powerful opener made an unbeaten 112 as he steered Cleckheaton to an eight-wicket win over lowly Gomersal.
He punctuated his innings with two sixes and 17 fours and lifted his side into fifth place in the table.
Gomersal, who currently occupy one of the two relegation positions, were unable to provide opener Chris Schofield with the support he needed to build a challenging total.
He made 83 but only tail-ender Matthew Barnes (31no) offered any assistance and a score of 180 was inadequate.
Spen Victoria seamer Kez Ahmed followed up his seven for 19 against East Bierley on Monday by claiming five for 28 as his side disposed of bottom team Yeadon by five wickets.
Ahmed claimed the first five wickets to fall after openers Harvey Anderson and James Todd had shared a stand of 60. Yeadon slid to 83 for five and an eventual total of 144 was simply not enough.
Their bowlers did cause some early scares in the Spen reply and at one stage the home side were 46 for four, but Peter Jackson, promoted from the second team, soon extinguished any hopes the visitors had of a first win of the season, blasting two sixes and ten fours in an unbeaten 59 as Spen moved level with Baildon in third place.
Baildon, who started the day as leaders, were forced to settle for a point from a losing draw against Woodlands.
Russell Murray (75), Murphy Walwyn (40no), and Tim Orrell (39) were the main contributors to a Woodlands total of 260 for five. Baildon replied with 206 for eight with the main contributor being wicketkeeper Matthew Duce, he made 50.
Undercliffe remain second in the table after a winning draw against Farsley. They were in some trouble at 101 for six at one point before skipper Martin Kellaway (40no), Jaffer Nazir (37) and Richard Elphee (36) boosted their side's total to 203 for eight. Craig Hitchenor was the pick of the Farsley bowlers with five for 56.
Farsley replied with 183 for seven with overseas player Asim Munir (60) and skipper Ashley Metcalfe (57no) were the main contributors.
Newly-promoted Idle claimed their first win of the season as they defeated Pudsey St Lawrence by 93 runs.
Pakistani Test player Ijaz Ahmed scored 53 as Idle made 192 for six and that proved to be a winning score as their bowlers reduced Pudsey St Lawrence to 99 all out.
Newcomers Mirfield remain unbeaten after clinging on for a losing draw against Hanging Heaton. Leicestershire batsman John Sadler (82) and Javed Umarji (61) shared a second-wicket stand of 120 as Hanging Heaton made 200 for six. Mirfield replied with 169 for five with Mohammed Asif making 46 not out.
