England all-rounder Craig White will make his first appearance of the season for Yorkshire at Park Avenue tomorrow in the three-day match against Bradford-Leeds Universities' Centre of Excellence.
White, who played in the Ashes series and the World Cup during the winter, had an operation just before the start of the season to remove two inches of bone from the lower part of a rib.
He made his comeback for Scarborough a week last Saturday and will continue his recovery to full fitness in this game, although he will play solely as a batsman.
Also in Yorkshire's side for the first time this season - as they try to pick up the pieces following three heavy defeats in eight days - will be Gavin Hamilton, who has not played first class cricket for about a year after losing all confidence in his bowling.
He has batted well both with Yorkshire seconds and East Bierley but Yorkshire need to know that he is back to his all-round best before they can pick him for a championship match.
Matthew Wood will again captain Yorkshire in the absence on Test duty of Anthony McGrath and young wicketkeeper Simon Guy gets his first game of the season, although Richard Blakey retains his place as a batsman.
Vic Craven will be keen to continue the batting form he showed on Saturday when he plundered a century for Pudsey Congs in their six-wicket win over East Bierley.
Yorkshire: Wood, White, Craven, Hamilton, Blakey, Guy, Bresnan, Gray, Dawson, Swanepoel, Sidebottom.
