Robbie Paul today declared: If we play to our potential we can't lose.
The Bulls travel to Hull on Sunday looking to bounce back in style after the embarrassing home defeat at London last week.
And the Bradford skipper is confident the Challenge Cup winners can put their poor performance at Odsal behind them.
"There have been no crisis meetings at this club," said Paul, one of the few class acts last week as the Broncos managed a 22-12 victory at Bradford, the first side to win at Odsal for three years.
"We played badly and we know that, so we will be looking to bounce back against Hull. If we play to our potential we can't lose.
"That is what we believe at this club and we are looking to prove it again. It is going to be a tough game for us but we have to be ready for it.
"But these are the sort of games that we should be looking to win. There can be no excuses this time.
"It would be very disappointing if we were to lose this game. Traditionally we have come back well from defeats and I hope it will no difference this time around."
Bradford have lost to Hull just once in 14 Super League encounters and destroyed them 48-24 on Good Friday at Bradford in their final game before the Challenge Cup final.
But Hull, who were stung by a two-point deduction for a breach of the salary cap last week, have won six on a trot and appear to be recovering from their crippling injury crisis.
And with the East Yorkshire club pushing for a 20,000 crowd, it could be an intimidating atmosphere for the Bulls as they pay their first ever visit to the KC Stadium.
The Bulls lost twice in a row last year, with defeats against St Helens and Castleford in August, and will be desperate to avoid a repeat of that.
But with four players out and another three facing fitness tests, it will not be a straightforward task for Brian Noble's men.
Scott Naylor, Paul Anderson, Mick Withers and Suart Fielden will definitely miss out with Lesley Vainikolo, Jamie Langley and Tevita Vaikona all facing late fitness tests.
