A family has paid tribute to a dad and husband who died while playing golf.
Jack Raistrick, 77, of Shetcliffe Road, Bierley, Bradford, was with three friends when he died suddenly during a friendly game at West End golf club, Halifax, on June 5. He was a member of West Bowling golf club.
His daughter Karen Raistrick said: "My dad loved golf, it was his life, and he would have been happy knowing he was among his friends.
"He played golf a lot and he once scored a hole in one at a course in Scotland."
Mr Raistrick's widow, Doreen, said her husband was a much loved and popular man.
"We will remember him exactly how he was, a wonderful, lovely man, who liked to have a good laugh. Everyone will miss him."
Mr Raistrick worked as a sales representative at Edmundson Electrical in Bradford for 35 years and retired more than a decade ago.
He bred rare Bazengi hunting dogs and his favourite, called Rebel of Reevylands, won several national prizes at Crufts.
After the Second World War, he served as a non-commissioned officer in India.
The funeral takes place at St Matthew's Church, Bankfoot, Bradford, on Thursday at 11am.
