Guiseley fell just short of becoming the first club to beat Menston this season and had to settle for two points from an
exciting draw.
It was already a tall order when they went into the final over needing 23 to win but it became impossible when batting hero Ian Chaplin fell to the first ball.
His 73 was the backbone of the Guiseley innings after they were set a target of 201 for victory by Menston who stay top on 36 points, but had their lead reduced to five by Bilton who crushed Steeton.

Rawdon maintained the pressure with a decisive win over Barsdsey, Kenrick Marshall taking six cheap wickets in a 12.3 over spell after smashing 15 off the final over of Rawdon's innings.
His batting cameo followed on the heels of fine knocks from Craig Walsh (49) and Matthew Doyle, who hammered six fours and a six in his 56.
Consistent Silsden batsman Lee Bilborough hit a season-best 84 against Knaresborough but his side had to settle for four points as the visitors' last pair hung on for the draw.
