Guiseley FM was back in business with catchy tunes and popular presenters during its successful first week on the air.
Guiseley residents have been tuning in in droves during the return of the community's radio station on frequency 87.9FM.
The station's three-week run began on Monday and has been a resounding success, having alre-ady received a high number of requests.
Breakfast presenter the Reverend Simon Hammond is delivering the three hours of madness he promised fans. "We are four days in and everything is ticking over well, there have been no major glitches. We have had a really positive response from the public to the station," he said.
The phone lines are open and anyone wanting to leave song requests or discuss local issues can contact the station.
Rev Hammond added: "We are looking for unusual recipes for the breakfast show, we have already had Icelandic and Cajun. We would like to hear from people with other strange recipes.
"We also want to hear good stories about people living in the area, this week we heard from a man who had just moved to the area who said he loves it"
Guiseley FM will run until Sunday, June 29, when Guiseley Festival begins.
