West Yorkshire's biggest annual public display of vintage and veteran vehicles is being staged in Keighley on Sunday.

Keighley Bus Museum Trust is hosting its eighth historic vehicle rally, at Marley playing fields.

All forms of wheeled transport will be represented -- historic double and single-deck buses and coaches from collections across the north of England; commercial, agricultural and military vehicles; cars of all ages and ranges, and traction and stationary engines. The police, fire service and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance will also be present.

Blazefield Holdings will display buses from each of its five northern subsidiaries -- Burnley & Pendle Travel, Harrogate & District Travel, Keighley & District Travel, Lancashire United and Yorkshire Coastliner.

Other attractions will include stalls, food and trade stands, children's entertainment, a miniature steam railway and a chance for people -- with a full car driving licence -- to drive a double-decker bus.

The rally will be officially opened at 10am by Keighley College principal David Gates.

Admission will be £3.50 for adults, £2.50 for senior citizens and children, or £7 for a family ticket admitting two adults and two OAPs/children. Free parking will be available.

A free heritage bus service will operate between the town centre and Marley, departing from the Hanover Street Access bus stop at 10.10am, 10.30am and 10.50am, and then every 20 minutes until 4.50pm. Buses will pick up opposite Keighley Railway Station two minutes later.

A free bus service will also provide a link between the rally and the sportKarnival, at Oakbank School, throughout the afternoon.

Through buses will depart from Marley at 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm, and will pick up at Keighley Railway Station five minutes later.

A through service will leave Oakbank -- at the Ashbourne Road turning circle -- at 12.50pm, 1.50pm, 2.50pm and 3.50pm, setting down at Keighley Railway Station 12 minutes later.
