Fundraising is blooming at Manorlands.
A team from the Sue Ryder Care Centre was out in force on Saturday, selling sunflower buttonholes and shopping-trolley key rings.
The activity, at Sainsbury's supermarket in Keighley, raised £449.
The sunflowers and key rings, which are also being sold through shops and schools, form part of the Oxenhope home's effort for the national Hospice Care Campaign.
People are being urged to 'go yellow' to raise cash, and several schools and businesses have already pledged to give their support by organising events. Last year, £5,000 was raised locally.
At Manorlands itself, a coffee afternoon is being staged on 'go yellow' day, June 20 (2-3pm). Everyone is welcome.
Anyone wanting to get involved in the campaign by organising a yellow-theme event should contact the Manorlands fundraising office on 01535 640161.
