A Silsden teenager will be presenting the delights of fish and chips to the world this summer.
Eighteen-year-old Matthew Clarkson is spending his gap year working as a cultural representative in Disney World, Florida.
He will be presenting the food and beverages our nation has become famous for, not just serving the food but also explaining to guests about our culture and culinary traditions.
Matthew is a big fan of Disney, having worked for the Disney Store for the past two years, and hopes to join the company when he finishes university.
It was a tough application procedure to get the coveted position, involving three interviews.
He will be living in the theme park and is looking forward to meeting everyone, but perhaps not so keen on the no-drinking rules!
