SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD Kara Harris has been named best Under-21 player in the Bradford Badminton League.
Kara, a student at Oakbank school, partnered David broadley in the mixed doubles and also teamed up with her twin sister Kristina in the Ladies First Division where they were the youngest pair to win a game.
Previously Kara and Kristina have played for Yorkshire and were selected for sponsored training at Carnegie College, Leeds where they were trained by some of the top coaches in Europe. They are members of Keighley Kobras badminton club where junior training has been supported by the Local Network fund. New training sessions at the club for juniors from 6-years upwards start on September 7.
