Over the last two weeks teams from Ben Rhydding Tennis Club have been in action in local leagues.
The team in the Harrogate and District League has had two excellent results.
They had a close run victory over Harrogate Racquets 5-4 at home, after a tense final round when the result depended on winning two of the final three rubbers, and an away win at Harlow by 6 - 2.
The Wharfedale League team is struggling in Division One and has lost two matches against Beckfoot and Heaton by large margins.
The Club is always keen to attract new members for both competitive and social tennis.
