WHEN Sophie Pattani opened the bonnet of the minibus she was driving after it ground to a halt, she was amazed to see a small cat sheltering inside the engine.
The cat was unscathed and has now has made itself comfortable at Miss Pattani's home in Skipton as she seeks its owner.
The minibus was picked up from the Snaygill Industrial estate, but nobody there has any knowledge of the cat.
The cat has a collar, has been well looked after and is house trained, which leads her to believe that somebody is missing a loved pet.
While the cat has made itself at home with the resident household spaniel, it has had less success with Miss Pattani's rabbit, which is very territorial and has driven off the newcomer.
If you think the cat could be yours, contact Miss Pattani on 07977 588754.
