City have confirmed the opposition for the four-team centenary tournament next month.
The names of Swansea City and Coleraine have been added to Aberdeen to give the two-day competition a Home Internationals feel.
Coleraine finished third in Northern Ireland while Swansea just escaped the drop from the Football League.
City had hoped to attract more exotic opponents and tried to lure South Koreans Busan Icons as well as contacting the likes of Paris St Germain, Austria Vienna and Schalke.
But at least their opponents on July 26 and 27 will guarantee a more traditional approach as part of the pre-season warm-up.
The first-team squad are back in training a week today and more new faces could be joining them.
Three players have already signed on for the next campaign - Alan Combe, Gareth Edds and Robert Wolleaston - and further names are expected to be added.
"There are a number of players who will be available who Nicky Law and Chris Dowhan have identified," said managing director Shaun Harvey.
"We have inquiries ongoing with a variety of different players but there are a significant number who will not be available until after their contracts expire on July 1.
"We should have a pretty good indication by then of what personnel there will be for the manager to work with.
"He has looked at the balance of the side and where he thinks we need to bring people in and that is what we are trying to do."
