Three sets of brothers helped North Leeds inflict a first defeat of the season on Menston, who lost the leadership to Bilton.
Barry and Mark Singleton, Tim and Guy Hollis and Rob and Dave Winter ganged up to earn North Leeds victory by 59 runs.
Barry Singleton (43) and Rob Winter (38) were North Leeds' top batsmen as the home side totalled 192 for five. Then Aussie Phil Valentine and Mick Richardson shone with the ball to dismiss Menston cheaply. Richard Burton was the only Menston batsman to offer much resistance with a half century.
Bilton took advantage of Menston's slip-up with an eight wicket success at home to fifth placed Otley. Opener Sam Smith (71) batted throughout Otley's innings of 168 for eight, but Luke Jarvis had a five for 36 analysis for Bilton.
A second-wicket partnership of 98 between Steve Phillips (92no) and Miles Corish (50) ended Otley's hopes and the home side raced to victory in 33.4 overs.
Guiseley remain in third place after a losing draw at Collingham for whom Matthew Cooke and Matthew Thompson enjoyed an opening partnership of 99.
Steeton moved off the foot of the table with a much-needed win at Hall Park. Steeton rattled up their highest score of the season with 275 for seven, number six batsman Jonathan Smith accumulating ten fours and eight sixes in an inspiring 112.
Gary Boulton supported well with a half century and then joined Neil Spragg in taking four wickets as Hall Park were bowled out for 141 with three balls to spare.
Green Lane, who finished third last season, have yet to win a league game this time but they owed a winning draw against Beckwithshaw to Nishan Gonsalkorale and Chris Kay. Gonsalkorale cracked 13 fours and a six in an undefeated 114 and Kay made 75.
In Division B, second placed Rawdon made it five successive wins in league and cup with a seven-wicket triumph at Silsden. New Zealander Darren Crook, opening the Silsden innings, hit 95 out of 202 for seven. However, the experienced Bruce Percy replied with a century and Craig Walsh struck 56.
Kirkstall still lead the way after a four- wicket victory over Tong Park, Brendan Ryan top-scoring with 37.
Pool moved up into third place, their 86 runs win leaving Thackley second from bottom. Phil Dibb and Steve Wood showed their all-round ability for Pool, Dibb hitting 44 and taking four for 19 and Wood making 33 and claiming three for 29.
James Trees' half century and Paul Dover's five for 69 were to no avail for Thackley.
Left arm paceman Jamie Hanson bowled Calverley to victory at Bardsey by just eight runs with a seven for 27 haul.
Opener Chris Wheeler hit an unbeaten century and Simon Tweddle was also left undefeated on 59 in Burley's seven-wicket triumph at Harden, who had a valiant 68 from Stuart Hudson.
In Division C, Addingham had to be content with a winning draw at home to Ben Rhydding, Simon Farrand taking five wickets and Aussie opener Ben Gordon contributing a half century.
Bernard Hughes had a six-wicket return as Olicanian defeated Upper Wharfedale by four wickets.
