A sponsored kick is to take place in support of a Shipley woman who overcame a life-threatening brain haemorrhage and is now set to climb Britain's highest mountain.
Tracey Marsh, 33, who has had to learn to walk again after her illness, is to tackle Ben Nevis in Scotland with her daughter, Tanya Birkett, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
And the Quest taekwondo group is to help the pair, of Yew Tree Close, Shipley, by raising funds for the cancer charity.
Tanya, 14, a pupil at Beckfoot School, has been a member of the club, based at Low Ash Primary School, Wrose Road, Shipley, for four years and has her second Dan black belt.
The charity event, organised by group instructor Glen Warne, is to be held on Wednesday, June 25.
