A stage-struck Cross Hills girl helped take elderly people back to the "good old days" in a professional production. Amber Thorn, 12, performed a solo in the nostalgia show Those Were The Days, at St George's Hall, in Bradford.
The South Craven School student won the role in recent auditions run by travelling theatre company Side by Side.
She performed the song Nobody's Child during afternoon and evening performances.
Amber attends Bradford theatre school Stagecoach and wants to be an actress when she grows up.
She played the Golden Bird in this year's Glusburn Pantomime and will soon appear in a concert with fellow students of the May School of Dance.
Those Were the Days featured popular songs from the last century, from barbershop to Glenn Miller, via Flanagan and Allen, with a flag-waving finale.
