The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is enjoying its busiest period for a decade.
Visitor numbers have risen by 10 per cent for the fifth consecutive month.
Special events and recent media coverage have helped boost passenger figures on the famous five-mile line.
Chuffed spokesman Trevor England said: "The days of anorak-clad men with flasks are long gone. These days you are more likely to see mum, dad and the kids enjoying a family day out, and we are continually upgrading our facilities and services to reflect this."
David Pearson, secretary of the K&WVR Preservation Society, added: "I have known the railway since I was a toddler. I saw it closed and saw it reopened -- and never in its long history have I known it so vibrant and morale so high. We are helping to put the 'Worth' back into the Worth Valley."
