CAPTAIN Mark Beckett blasted Keighley to a monster score as they took on Esholt on Saturday.
He scored a superb 120 backed up for much of his team at the crease by Lee Gordon who shared in a 94-run partnership and ended with a personal total of 59.
The 274-9 total outclassed Esholt who threw out the sheet anchor early intheir innings.
Beckett used eight bowlers in a desperate bid to tempt the Esholt batsmen into the odd rash shot, but they clung on with eight wickets down to prevent Keighley taking maximum points.
However, four points for a winning draw was enough to keep Keighley in second place in the table six points hebind Saltaire.
Keighley 2nds reached 177-7 againt Bankfoot with D Robinson top scoring on 59.
The score was not enough to stop the home side scuring a two-wicket win.
