Cowling Cup holders Embsay, enjoyed their second nine-wicket win of the tournament when they sent Ingrow St John's crashing to defeat at Shires Lane.
The Saints were restricted to 107 and Embsay cruised to a comfortable win.
Chatburn must have been confident after scoring 214-7 at home to Thornton. Geoff Lambert 55no and Ted Topham 37 were the main run getters as Jeff Tipler took 4-35. However, the Booth Bridge Lane side romped to a seven-wicket victory thanks to David Harrison (106no) and Michael Hird who made 57.
Skipton CI are putting together a good cup run. They entertained Barrowford and rattled up 216-6. Mick Prince snr made 68 and John Stuttard 62no. The latter then claimed 5-21 to send last year's beaten finalists crashing out as they tumbled to 130 all out.
The third round draw, on the June 29 is: Embsay v Cullingworth, Glusburn v Oakworth, Skipton CI v Thornton, Pendle Forest v Airedale.
This Sunday sees the third round of the Wynn Cup. The games are: Gargrave v Oakworth, Cowling v Foulridge, Bradley v Ingrow St John's and Barrowford v Pendle Forest.
