Salts made hay in Bradford League Division Two, hitting 324 for six at home to Windhill - the highest team total in the Specialist Ducting Supplies Bradford League centenary season so far.

Mazhar Bhatti led the way in the lower middle-order with 105 not out, and Sarfraz Ahmed (43), Mohammed Maroof (48) and Numan Shabbir (33 not out) also contributed.

Windhill might not have looked capable of overhauling that mammoth score, but when rain intervened at 124 for two after 26.5 overs, they looked well capable of holding out for a point.

Irfan Fazil might have made a duck when leaders Saltaire batted, but he had already done his job by taking five for 43 when visitors Morley were tumbled for 129.

Morley, thanks to Adam Larkin (40) and Colin Nuthall (25), had been 79 for one but lost three wickets on that score and two more at 94.

Saltaire were 24 for four, but Tariq Alam (36) and Mohammed Isaq (24) then added 60 and they were seen to a three-wicket victory by Sohail Wahid (34no).

Manningham Mills set second-placed Keighley a much stiffer target at Scotchman Road, but the visitors still made it home by four wickets.

Mills recovered from 99 for six to 201 for nine, opener Khalid Mehmood making 63 and Manzoor Hussain 49 not out at No 8, adding 57 with Moey Hassan (20).

Darren Docksey (4-63) and Ross Towler (3-51) helped to peg Mills back, and Keighley timed their reply well, winning in 42.5 overs after Matthew Bottomley (50) and Stuart Ratcliffe (52) put on 62 for the second wicket.

Bradford and Bingley kept up the pressure on their Aire Valley rivals by triumphing at Bowling Old Lane by seven wickets.

Richard Nichols (4-19) and Matthew Cockshott (4-13) proved a potent combination as the hosts were dismissed for 98, all this after Richard McCarthy's suspect knee cartilage finally gave way when he sent down his first and only delivery.

Javed Iqbal (39) was a lone star for Old Lane, but Carl Sharp and Nichols both made 31 for Bingley, who stay just a point behind Keighley.

With Salts gaining only a point, Bankfoot climbed to equal fourth with a comfortable seven-wicket success at Lightcliffe.

The home side failed to capitalise on an opening partnership of 73 between Michael Brooke (31) and Bruce Lunn (40), and Gary Wainwright (73), Saleem Mughal (56no) and Ian Nicholson (55no) were all in form in Bankfoot's reply.

Great Horton notched only their second victory of the season - by 61 runs at Hartshead Moor.

Overseas star Naveed Arif won the all-rounder of the day prize by scoring 76 at No 6 for the winners and then taking five for 32 off 15 overs.

Esholt were just ahead on points when it rained at Drighlington. The visitors had compiled an impressive 268 for nine, Richard Whitehurst making 112 and Viveck Mahajan 54, Tim Kellett taking a superb five for 16 off five overs.

Drighlington were 161 for five with 15 overs left when the weather intervened, Basil King having hit 54 and Matthew Holmes 40 as they took full toll on Whitehurst (4-0-29-0) and Tony Pickersgill (4-0-36-0).
