Shuttleworth Hall, near the Fairweather Green estate, Bradford, a 400-year-old building on land that once belonged to the monks of Byland Abbey, may be pulled down to make room for new houses. Listed by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government as a building of special historic or architectural interest, the hall is partly occupied, but most of it is in a state of disrepair. The date of the building has been stated to be between 1530 and 1550.
