Odsal: Businesses are snapping-up the chance to taste the new corporate facilities at Odsal stadium as the ground prepares to host its first representative game for 21 years.
The Bradford Bulls stadium has been chosen to host the Rugby League origin game between Yorkshire and Lancashire on Wednesday, July 2.
Today rugby league officials said corporate clients from across the county were keen to take advantage of the new facilities on offer at the Low Moor end of the ground.
RFL marketing director Chris Green said companies from across Yorkshire had already signed-up for the new complex which features function rooms and bars.
Debbie Charlton, Bradford Bulls head of sales and marketing, added: "The facilities now at Odsal are amongst the finest in British sport to suit our high standards of customer service."
20:20 vision
PROJECT: Yvonne Oliver, pictured, director of the Bradford-based drugs project Ripple has attended a leadership development programme. The course brought together leaders from all over the UK to examine the forces which will drive changes to our society over the next 20 years. The five-day '20:20' course was at the University of Warwick and is run annually by Common Purpose, one of the UK's leading educational organisations.
A pig of a job
CONTRACTS: Ilkley public relations agency Peake PR has won two new clients, including a leading pig breeding and genetics company. ACMC, based in the North Yorkshire town of Driffield, which was thrust into the public spotlight after one of its pigs gave birth to 27 piglets. The agency has also won a contract to provide coverage for leading Northern Irish company Metal Technology.
Trade show
EVENT: A trade show featuring exhibitors from across the electrical products industry in Yorkshire takes place at the Bradford & Bingley Stadium at Valley Parade, Bradford, tomorrow. The event, with more than 50 stands, runs between 11am and 9pm.
