Bradford City fan Jules Dolan has brewed a special ale to mark his beloved club's centenary year.
The lifelong Bantams fanatic, who runs the small Abbey Bells Brewery in the North Yorkshire town of Selby, has concocted the brew known as 1911 Celebration Ale, named after the year City won the FA Cup.
It went on sale at the weekend to coincide with the kick-off of the new campaign, it went on sale in pubs across Bradford.
The beer has been specially devised to give it a distinctive claret colour and (for the more imaginative beer suppers) an amber-coloured head, hence resembling the club's home strip.
Mr Dolan, 47, said the bitter had a sweet, fruity taste and was "quite dangerous stuff" at 4.8 per cent.
He jumped at the chance to make a special ale to celebrate City's 100 years as a football club.
"I'll just have to see how sales go but I hope it will prove popular with fans especially for a drink before or after a match," he said.
The bitter is now on sale at The Fighting Cock, Bradford; Fanny's Ale House, Shipley; The Thornhill Arms, Calverley; Idle Working Men's Club; the Valley Bar, Scarborough; and The Seabirds, Flamborough.
