A clash between the Royalists and the Roundheads during the English Civil War was re-enacted in Birstall at the weekend.
Part of the Battle of Adwalton Moor, near Drighlington, was re-run at Oakwell Hall Country Park in Nutter Lane to commemorate the 360th anniversary of the English Civil War engagement.
The drama was provided by the Sealed Knot Society's Earl of Manchester's Regiment, based in Leeds, which has members mainly from Yorkshire, Lancashire and Lincolnshire.
A living history demonstration was also put on in the park.
The Sealed Knot ranks include pike, artillery and non-combatant roles.
In the aftermath of the battle, Bradford fell to the Royalists and Thomas Fairfax escaped to his stronghold in Hull.
