Three Bradford City directors and two club officials set out for America tomorrow on a five-day fact-finding tour to study American methods of promoting football. Chairman Bob Martin, who recently spent a month in the USA is taking with him fellow directors John Garside and Roy Stead, secretary Terry Newman and commercial manager Roger Fielding to see how the Americans' success in promoting soccer can help Bradford City.

Nearly 100 boys and 14 officers of the Bradford Battalion the Boys' Brigade are in camp at Skegness. Much of their time is spent swimming and playing cricket and football, although the usual camp duties such as potato peeling and kit inspections have to be carried out. The boys are sleeping in tents and taking their meals in a wooden dining-hall.
