Bradford workers must stick at their desks however hot it gets in the office this week.
That's the warning from law firm John Howe & Co which has stressed there's no maximum temperature laid down in health and safety law.
Regardless of the temperature, workers cannot down tools -- provided the employer has put in place basic provisions such as drinking water, air conditioning or regular breaks.
Partner John Howe said: "There should be an area which is three degrees cooler than the outside temperature where people can go to 'chill out', and air conditioning units and fans should be used."
Mr Howe added: "Many companies notice an increase in sickness levels when the weather warms up but obviously it is very difficult to prove if someone is sick or just taking advantage of the hot summer."
