Keighley students are celebrating after chalking-up top-class A-level results.
Schools in the area have once again performed well, with most at least matching the national average pass rate.
At Oakbank School, retiring head teacher John Roberts was delighted with another good crop of results. At 95 per cent, the overall pass rate was on a par with the national average.
He said: "It has been another successful year. Very pleasing is the fact that passes at grades A and B improved after last year's big leap, even though the total number of entries was up. Girls, as usual, performed better than boys."
There were 100 per cent pass rates in art, chemistry, dance, design, English, French, German, history, media, music, business and sociology.
Top performer was David Prince, with four As.
At AS-level, there were 100 per cent pass rates in English, French, media, music and sociology, and girls and boys performed equally well.
Outstanding performers included Mark Hawker, with four As.
In the Advanced Vocational Certificate in Education (VCE), there were 100 per cent pass rates in all three subjects -- leisure and recreation, health and social care, and business.
The head teachers of the Greenhead and Holy Family Associated Sixth Form, Tricia McCarthy and Conor Davis, were delighted at an overall 97 per cent pass rate on A-level courses.
There was a 100 per cent success rate in physics, chemistry, science, psychology, English, economics, art, performance studies, health and social care, IT and history.
In maths there were eight As and Bs from the 13 entries.
Mr Davis and Mrs McCarthy said in a joint statement: "We are optimistic that these results will enable all students to access courses of their choice in higher education. Our analysis shows that students of all abilities can achieve success through the progression routes offered in the Associated Sixth Form.
"AS results give encouragement for further improvements to be made at A2 next year."
At South Craven School, the A-level pass rate was the second highest ever at 91 per cent, excluding general studies. Deputy head David Birks said: "Eleven subjects had a 100 per cent pass rate, including both technology and engineering, which is a splendid start to the school's specialist status, due from September 1."
In the VCE subjects, 13 students achieved an A or B grade.
The first year sixth AS results also produced 103 A or B grades, including Katie Smith with five grade As.
At Keighley College, A-level students achieved a 100 per cent success rate in nine out of 17 subject areas. And there was a pass rate of over 80 per cent in 14 subjects.
Principal David Gates said: "Congratulations to all our students. These results are a testament to the students and staff who have all worked really hard. I'm delighted their hard work has paid off."
