Heads turned, children stopped and bus drivers grinned in admiration at a sleek single-deck bus going through Bradford's busy streets yesterday afternoon. At 56 feet long the vehicle should have had a struggle to negotiate twists and turns - but the sharpest of bends was taken with ease. For the 63-seat vehicle - with standing room for NINETY-SIX - was the Bendibus, tipped to be the bus of the future for Britain's cities and towns.
