Bradford Park Avenue go into their second game of the UniBond Premier season tonight looking for their first point after a home defeat to Hucknall Town on Saturday.
They cross the Pennines to take on Ashton United who were also beaten on the opening day. They went down 2-0 away at Blyth Spartans.
Avenue manager Trevor Storton had a skeleton squad available for the Hucknall match but has more options tonight.
Robust forward Jason Maxwell is back in contention after serving a one-match ban and close-season signing Steve Olexovicz, a former Halifax Town midfielder captured from Ossett Town, is also available following a suspension.
"We were under-strength at the weekend but I was very pleased by the performance," said Storton after seeing his side hauled back from a goal up in the 2-1 reverse.
"There wasn't much wrong with our performance and the players who came in did well so we will be keeping the 14 but adding Jason and the new lad Olly.
"I thought the first performance was very encouraging, you are bound to miss players like Jason, Graham Mitchell, Andy Hayward and Simon Collins. But the defence looked good and I thought we caused Hucknall problems going forward."
Collins will be back from holiday and Mitchell and former Rotherham striker Hayward will have served their respective suspensions in time to be included in Saturday's squad for the trip to Runcorn FC Halton.
In Division One Guiseley play their first home game of the campaign, Bridlington Town visiting Nethermoor.
Guiseley are also looking to open their account after defeat at North Ferriby United on Saturday. Manager Neil Parsley names an unchanged squad.
"It was disappointing to come away from Ferriby empty-handed after the performance we put in," said Parsley. "The only good thing to come out of the game was that we had no injuries so we can go again with the players who felt hard done by."
Liversedge make the short trip to Selby Town in the Northern Counties East Premier Division with five changes from their first-day home defeat to Brodsworth MW.
Keeper John Hawkes, midfielder Jason Ryan and right back Nigel Beck all come in for the first time and last season's regulars Adam Goldthorpe and James Nestor return.
