Halifax have been handed a suspended fine of £1,000 by the Rugby Football League for an article published in their matchday programme.
A hearing of the RFL's advisory panel concluded that the article concerning Bulls fans had caused offence. The fine was suspended for a year with Halifax ordered to pay costs of £270.
The offending article had branded the Bulls retards, cattle and whingers.
