Mike Forshaw has played down reports of an end-of-
season switch to Warrington but admitted that his future is far from clear.
The veteran loose forward is out of contract at the end of the season but a potential selection by Great Britain coach David Waite for the three-match Test Series against Australia in November holds the key to the 32-year-old's future.
The squad is set to be announced two days after the Grand Final - on October 20 - and Forshaw said: "A lot depends on whether I get selected to play in the Test Series. If I do, then I'll make a decision about my future during the Series."
Forshaw refused to rule out staying at Bradford but admitted retirement was also a strong possibility.
He said: "I'm not going to rule either out.
"I have job opportunities as well, so at this stage of my career I don't want to rush into a decision.
"I'm at a club here where I don't need to rush and sign anything. I might even have a gap year and look around to see what options are open to myself.
"Going back to college is another possibility and any employment that I go into will be in Lancashire, although at this stage I'm keeping my options open."
