Children from schools across Bradford have been taking to the water and learning how to sail.
Eight youngsters aged between 11 and 14 have attended a five-day Royal Association training course at the Doe Park Activity Centre in Denholme.
The course caters for all levels of ability from beginners to proficient sailors.
Children are taught how to handle a sail boat and at the end of the course are presented with a certificate.
Andy Craven, Assistant Manager of Doe Park Activity Centre, said: "This is just one of many activities we have on offer. Children who attend not only improve their water confidence but also their self confidence and the feeling that they have achieved something positive."Thirteen-year-old Fred Houghton is pictured enjoying sailing his craft.
