Leon Pryce will give the Bulls a major boost ahead of the play-offs by returning to first-team action.

The 21-year-old stand off, who has been in outstanding form this season, suffered a sternum injury after just 45 seconds of the Bulls' win against Huddersfield on August 4.

He then aggravated the injury five days later during the victory against Leeds, after a stand-off crisis forced Brian Noble into gambling on his fitness.

And the young Great Britain star believes he is around two weeks away from a return to first-team action, making the trip to London on August 31 a realistic possibility.

He said: "I'm doing everything in training at the moment but just with no contact. The sternum is just between the chest, covering up your ribcage, so I am able to train fully but just avoid any physical contact with the other lads.

"I haven't really set any targets and will just have to see what the doctor says, but hopefully I'll be back playing in just under two weeks."

Noble is hoping that the hamstring injury which ruled Paul Deacon out of the Hull victory will not keep him out of Monday's clash at Wigan, although the young scrum half remains a doubt.

While Michael Withers (groin), Robbie Paul (arm) and Chris Bridge (calf) remain long-term absentees, Lesley Vainikolo (knee and ankle) and Jimmy Lowes (leg) should both be fit to face Wigan as the Bulls aim to extend their winning streak to nine consecutive matches.
