Skipton members Brenda Walker and Margaret Oversby won the prestigious Yorkshire Ladies Golf Union County Foursomes Trophy at Brough, near Hull.
Helped by a couple of birdies on par three holes, their 66.5 total was two shots clear of their rivals to bring the title home to Skipton. They will be presented with the trophy at the annual meeting of the Yorkshire Ladies.
Having pre-qualified at Skipton, the regional qualifier was held on their own course and they went through as winners of the region to the county final, where they again found their form.
Meanwhile Colin Chapman was a surprise, if popular, winner of the Past Captain's Silver Salver when he scored 41 points.
