With promotion in every season since their move from Saturday football into the Bradford Sunday Alliance Alliance, Heaton United try to complete the full set this season by going up from Division One to the Premier. Heaton are at Save Morgan's Chellow side tomorrow and the club has strengthened with three players with proven premier experience. Keeper Shami Khan moves from Bradford Moor, defender Adam Khan from East Ward and, after a treble season with Albion Sports, fellow defender Asif Hussain has rejoined the club.
Former Premier side Stanley Road has brought last season's Farsley Celtic manager Martin Haresign into their management team.
Stanley have brought in several new signings and start their promotion bid with a visit to Bradford Moor who hope to consolidate after a disappointing time in the top flight last term.
Veteran Nicky Brooksbank has returned to West Bowling and, after the club missed out on promotion on the last match in May, they will be hoping to make up for it this season.
Queensbury reserves, relying very much on youth this season visit Bowling, who due to their Mayo Avenue ground being rebuilt are playing their home fixtures at Avenue
Road.
Two other clubs who have quickly moved up the divisions, Wyke Wanderers and Waggoners, meet in the First Division's match of the day at Harold Park.
Promising much in the last couple of seasons but lacking the consistency to achieve promotion, Westwood and Dudley Hill Rangers are in action at Cooper Lane.
The league already has one casualty in Royal Mail Rangers who fail to start in 1B after last season's promotion.
