Tension among teeny-boppers is reaching fever pitch as music fans wait impatiently for Gareth Gates to take centre stage at Bingley's Party in The Park.
But one group of screaming fans at the concert in Myrtle Park this Sunday will stand out as being slightly older than the average Gareth groupie.
The group of 40-something female fans met up over the Internet, and will be coming from all over the country to see Gareth strut his stuff.
Super-fan Linda Lewis, 44, said it would be a great opportunity for the fans to meet up, as well as seeing their favourite star.
"The Sunday at Party in the Park will be a day for us all to get the chance to give Gareth the support that he so richly deserves," she said.
"We will all be dressed in Gareth t-shirts of individual design, wearing our red wrist ribbons and sporting some rather snazzy name tags.
"There will also be a huge Gareth banner for us all to stand under and I can only guess that the adulation from our group is going to be one very noisy affair."
