Ilkley: The Ladies section's Sally Ognall and Peggy Crabtree chose a 'Bisque Bogey' competition for their Prize day, The winner in the Silver Division was Rosie Sunderland with plus six. Runner-up was Gill Bean with plus four and third was Dottie Cartwright with plus one.
The winner in the Bronze Division was Adelina Lees with plus seven with the runner-up Angela Harrison with plus seven and third Anne Holmes with plus six.
The August Junior Medal CSS was 73 for the ladies and 70 for the men. The winner was Jenna Appleby with 96 (28) 68. Second was Alex Hare with 80 (13) 67 and third was Lizzie Brand with 79 (5) 74.
HARROGATE UNION: The Junior Jamboree was staged at Otley Golf Club and ended in a blanket finish with three teams on 113 Stableford points.
Winners with the highest tie breaker were Ripon City with Harrogate runners-up and Pannal a close third.
The greensome format enabled many young golfers to get their first taste of competitive golf at this level and with 18 pairs achieving par or better the newcomers did well.
